The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh (Edward & Sophie) crossed over Clachan Bridge aka ‘The Bridge over the Atlantic’ en route to the T’nT, Easdale and Luing on Thursday 22 May.
Amazingly, we managed to get a crew together on a weekday morning, and rowed up under the bridge, rendezvousing perfectly with the Royal Party above us on the bridge as we returned with the tide. They took photos of us as we ‘tossed oars’ in salute. An outing with a difference and we were so lucky with the weather!
