A big thanks to everyone who made the Regatta such a success. A special thanks to the Mid Argyll and Portobello crews who felt very welcome and say they will come back.
On the day we were well supported by rescue boats by Alasdair, Alastair and Paul. Sue kept order as race officer and all rowers seemed to enjoy themselves. Helen provided the medals for the event which were a hit.
The ceilidh was great and Neil and Laura didn’t take any fee for playing giving us £580 at the door. Emily and Graham sang briliantly and the Seil Choir sang 2 sets and an encore.
We are now well and truly up and rowing. Thanks to Ewen for leading the build and everyone who sanded, epoxied and painted.
Thanks to Nick for letting us take over his shed on Sunday afternoons and Bette for tea and cake.
The website by Nick is great and working well
The weather should also get a mention along with anyone I have missed.
